Aldo Di Toro, Lyric tenor
AIMS ’02, Meistersinger Competition 1st Place |
|
"I
was fortunate to receive the Opera Foundation of Australia scholarship.
AIMS changed my life and work. That summer experience gave me so much
direction and knowledge. I met my future teacher, agent and coach, and
made lifelong friendships. I took full advantage of the opportunities
to grow as a singer that summer (coaching opera and Lieder with every
teacher who would give me 30 minutes) and the solid ideas have stayed
with me. I also had so much fun learning at AIMS! Now I will debut in
Austria in major tenor roles. Thank you, AIMS!"

he will sing with the Bilkent Symphony at the Mersin Festival in Turkey. In May, he returns to Innsbruck to sing the title role in Roméo et Juliette.
